Ian Santo Domingo is a Principal and Managing Director at Vault Consulting, LLC based in Reston, VA. He operates primarily in Vault’s survey research division which provides financial and compensation benchmarking studies, industry wide statistical programs, membership/advocacy surveys, and event/tradeshow research.

Ian directs major online market research programs, complex industry statistical reports and since 2003, has won, managed, and maintained numerous accounts that are still current Vault clients. One long-standing account, the Council of American Survey Research Organizations (CASRO), produces an online compensation & benefits study and a highly detailed financial benchmarking study. These studies place Vault as the firm of choice for providing operational benchmarks for the Market Research Industry. In addition, Ian leads the event audit team for the largest consumer show in the country, the annual International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

To complement his research expertise, Ian has also developed technical expertise in the design and application of complex databases, which are used in large data collection web portals. With a team of developers, Ian has helped to design and create numerous secured web portals. These data portals employ custom built applications that provide in-depth and real-time analysis tools for industry associations, membership societies, and the private companies or individuals they serve.

Ian is an active member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) where he held a position on their Diversity & Inclusion Committee and is currently serving on their Marketing & Communications Section Council. He has also been a featured speaker at multiple events such as ASAE’s Annual Conference, Venable’s nonprofit speaker series, and the Envelope Manufacturers Association’s Annual Conference.

Ian received his bachelor’s degree in Economics along with a concentration in Finance from The University of Virginia. He also earned his MBA from the George Washington University.
