Maureen Austen provides account management, methodological design, and project management services for a full range of client specific primary and secondary, qualitative and quantitative research studies. Responsibilities include consulting with the client to develop a research design that meets information needs and budget, and managing all aspects of the project’s execution, from design through analysis and presentation of results.
Maureen brings more than 20 years of professional marketing research experience to each project. Her experience spans numerous product and service categories and a wide range of sophisticated qualitative and quantitative research methodologies among B2B, consumer, healthcare, pharmaceutical, and membership targets for a variety of Fortune 1000 companies, non-profits, and associations.
Maureen’s market research experience includes management positions at Fortune 1000 companies including TJ Lipton, Richardson-Vicks, Inc., Procter & Gamble, and Combe, Inc. This corporate experience contributes to Maureen’s ability to apply a strong, marketing-oriented perspective to research findings, generating actionable conclusions and recommendations for the client.
Maureen holds a B.A. in Sociology from the College of New Rochelle and has attended the University of Connecticut’s graduate business program. Maureen is a member of the Qualitative Research Consultants Association, and has been trained in moderating skills at the RIVA Institute in Bethesda, MD.
