Amy’s goal-oriented nature makes her the ideal executive to focus on the execution of Vault’s strategic initiatives while leading the firm’s operations team.  A high-energy change agent, Amy brings her well-rounded experience and altruistic nature to help others succeed to work with her each day.

She has enjoyed a career path unlike most CPAs, holding roles in sales, operations, and recruiting.  Amy has also served in positions directly related to her expertise:  Controller, Big 4 Auditor, and CFO.  Her commitment to the non-profit community is evident in her role as a member of the GWSCPA Board of Governors, service as the Chair of the GWSCPA Women’s Leadership Committee and role in the Society’s annual Non-Profit Symposium Planning Committee. A founding member of Chief, a private network of women in executive leadership, she actively engages in the community to continue her development as an executive, expand her network, and gain new tools to help guide strategy and mentor others.

Prior to joining Vault, Amy was the Vice President of Finance & Administration for the U.S. Soccer Foundation.  She was responsible for delivering accurate reporting internally and externally, as well as leveraging her skill set to lead the strategic planning ensuring continued program growth for the Foundation.  Amy led all federal fund financial oversight and reporting, human resources responsibilities for the Foundation, and the information technology team.  Her work at the Foundation followed her tenure as Chief Operating Officer of an outsourced accounting firm, where she was responsible for the operations and staff leadership.  Additionally, she performed CFO duties for several non-profit clients.

Amy’s ability to switch priorities at the drop of a dime and consistently meet objectives resulting in the forward progress of Vault’s strategic goals makes her an impactful change agent. Amy channels her energy towards leading versatile operational functions: embracing new tech solutions, developing staff training resources, and undertaking a share of the firm’s business development, human resources, public relations, and marketing efforts.

As a leader, Amy focuses on mentoring others by elevating staff members through professional development and continuing education. She initiated the creation of Vault University, which consists of 70 internally developed and internally taught courses within the technical, communications, and corporate engagement curriculums. Similarly, she designed and implemented a mentorship program for all Vaulters to guide their goal setting and continued growth as professionals.

While Amy is not leading the charge at Vault, she is off running the country (literally). To date, she has finished road races in 35 states.  This allows her to combine her love of running with her love of travel.

Amy holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Indiana University of Pennsylvania where she was a student-athlete on the women’s varsity soccer team, as well as a Master of Business Administration from the Pennsylvania State University. To continue her education and support her passion for change, she is pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration from UNC Charlotte. She has her CPA from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania with reciprocity in the State of North Carolina.
