As an energetic and candid manager, India focuses her finely tuned problem-solving skills on generating rigorous financial statements for Vault clients. India uses her accounting software expertise to train clients toward efficiency and her relational skills to increase nonprofit member engagement.
India’s collaboration skills make her a great teammate and an effective manager. Her confidence garners the admiration of her team, as she is perceptive to speak out, ask questions, and get results, when others are comfortable keeping the status quo. India is naturally inquisitive, and her investigative mindset allows her to get to the root of nonprofit associations financial reporting challenges to deliver perfectly tailored solutions.
Since joining Vault as a Senior Manager, India has brought nearly 20 years of experience to both preparing precise financial statements and managing client expectations with eloquence. India briefly placed her accounting role on hold to use her customer service and consulting expertise to launch an interior decorating business of her own. In that role, India became proficient in ‘wearing every hat’ in a business, which allows her to appreciate and empathize with Vault clients. Prior to working at Vault, India worked in Financial Planning and Analysis for Total Wine and More where she pursued joint passions for problem solving and wine.
When India is not collaborating with clients at Vault, she enjoys privately pursuing the talent that led her to become an entrepreneur by decorating her home in Howard County, Maryland. Recently, she also discovered a green thumb and can become immersed in her garden for hours, finding it incredibly rewarding to watch things grow.
India is a graduate of Florida State University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She is a member of Delta Sigma Pi business fraternity and currently holds her CPA from the State of Maryland where she lives with her husband and daughter.
