Jamie Saylor, CPA

CEO & Principal
Jamie Saylor, CPA

As a certified public accountant, it is imperative that Jamie takes great care in the minute details; however, it is his foresight for global organizational concerns that help keep all the local initiatives, within the firm, inline. One of Jamie’s prominent professional accomplishments was leading the objectives necessary to create and launch Vault Consulting within a four-month-period. He attributes this achievement to the high standards for which he holds himself up against and to the great team that he has assembled at Vault.

Like any person with innate sportsmanship, Jamie earned the trust and respect of his staff when his bold and swift leadership steered the organization towards success without a single resignation during the change management period. Alongside other founding partners, Jamie solidified Vault Consulting’s identity as an organization that is no longer perceived as a derivative of the once credible research and accounting practice groups under Veris Consulting. Applying his gift for numbers, tenacity, and business acumen, Jamie led the creation of a collaborative organization committed to primarily serving the tax-exempt community with accounting and research services.

Other circumstances where Jamie has exercised his leadership during times of uncertainty were during his former executive-level roles as an auditor, outsourced chief financial officer, and vice president of finance. Although, his main responsibilities today are to lead Vault’s principals and leadership team, pulling from his decades of expertise in public and corporate accounting to counsel clients on financial or operational inquiries is always personally and professionally rewarding.

Jamie’s positivity and familial-like approach to his work is exuberated across the entire firm’s culture and client partnerships alike. Still, as a man set out for excellence, when he is not coaching little league or taking his family to a hockey game, he is encouraging the Vault team to challenge themselves and reach new heights, such as climbing Camelback Mountain during a company outing.
