His professional experience ranges from public outreach and marketing to writing custom software for the U.S. intelligence community, giving him a broad perspective, and allowing him to bring out-of-the-box ideas to the table in the not-for-profit industry.
Dave’s combined business acumen and technical proficiencies help him innovate systematic solutions to clients’ business challenges. With three years of experience in creating individualized solutions for non-profit clients, Dave has established a tried-and-true process for troubleshooting problems. With a professional background that spans industries, Dave often brings together solutions from a variety of fields and is known to take a brand-new approach to each new client issue.
Since joining Vault, Dave has used his development skills to modernize the Vault Developer team with a progressive perspective. He maintains high standards in the research department through a combination of an Agile management style and leading by exhibiting his own drive for excellence in everything that he makes. For Dave, the value of creating an elegant solution is the intrinsic satisfaction of good craftsmanship.
Dave’s brain is wired to create. He has always been naturally curious and he doesn’t stop until he reaches the bottom of a problem. Outside of building software solutions for his clients, this passion extends to building material models, woodworking, and engineering innovative household products.
Dave holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Arts in History from The College of William and Mary.
