Amy’s goal-oriented nature makes her the ideal executive to run Vault’s operations. Her success derives from her well-rounded experience and her altruistic nature to help others succeed. Amy has enjoyed a career path anomaly to most CPAs, holding roles in sales, real estate, and recruiting. Nevertheless, Amy has also served in positions directly related to her expertise: operational controller, Big 4 auditor, and chief financial officer. Her commitment to the tax-exempt sector is evident in her successful completion of the Not-for-Profit Certificate program by the American Institute of CPAs.
Prior to joining Vault, Amy was the Vice President – Finance & Administration of the U.S. Soccer Foundation. She was responsible for delivering accurate reporting internally and externally, as well as leveraging her skill set to lead the strategic planning ensuring continued program growth for the Foundation. Amy led all federal fund financial oversight and reporting. She also handled all human resources responsibilities for the Foundation, as well as oversight of its information technology team. Her work at the Foundation followed her tenure as the Chief Operating Officer of LTBD, where she was responsible for the daily operations of firm as well as client services and staff leadership. She also had a set of clients for whom she performed duties as the CFO of those organizations.
Amy’s significant ability to switch priorities at the drop of a dime and consistently meet objectives that result in the completion of Vault’s strategic goals makes her a star change agent. Amy channels her energy towards running versatile operational functions: embracing new IT solutions, developing staff training resources, and undertaking a share of the firm’s business development, public relations, and marketing efforts.
As a leader, Amy flexes her drive for excellence by creating programs that will elevate staff members through professional development and continuing education. She led the creation of Vault University, which consists of 70 internally developed and internally taught courses within the technical, communications, and corporate engagement curriculums. Similarly, she designed and implemented a mentorship program, which helps accounting and research staff meet goals to keep climbing the ladder.
While Amy is not supporting the Vaulters in CPA exam pursuit, leading operational strategy, or checking in with Vault’s human resource and marketing directors, she is off running the country, literally. To this day, she has finished road races in 26 states and counting.
Amy earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Indiana University of Pennsylvania where she was a student-athlete on the women’s varsity soccer team, as well as a Masters of Business Administration from the Pennsylvania State University. She has her CPA from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and is a member of the AICPA, ASAE and GWSCPA.
