Lawren Gewecke has over 9 years of accounting and consulting experience across multiple industries, and she is a Senior Manager in Vault Consulting’s outsourced accounting practice group. She is responsible for the management and preparation of financial statements, analysis of financial statement variances, compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, financial projections and cash management, Federal and Non-Federal Grant compliance and reporting, budgeting, tax compliance for our not-for profit clients.
She assists tax-exempt organizations with their audit and tax preparation and provides general business consulting relating to development of accounting policies and procedures procedure, financial statement presentation, and reconciliations. She regularly helps Vault’s clients file for reimbursement and comply with the requirements for private and federally funded grants. She works with various client executives to both prepare and present financial information to board and committee members. She is well versed in the various accounting in use by the not-for-profit industry and thus assists clients with system selection, implementation, and training.
Lawren received a Masters of Science degree in Accounting from American University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Greater Washington Society of CPAs (GWSCPA).
